A female mountain-climber posed for a photo at Everest Base Camp (EBC), waving the Taiwan flag, while clad in only a bikini.

The photos were shared on a photographer's Facebook page on Oct. 31.

Wants to conquer world's tallest summits with her bikini

According to Taiwan News, the bikini-clad climber, surnamed Huang, is a psychiatrist.

She is nearly halfway through her conquest of the Seven Summits, which are the tallest peaks on each of the seven continents around the world.

Huang told Taiwan News that she brings her bikini, made up of the colours of Taiwan's flag, whenever she journeys to the Seven Summits.

With this, she wants to introduce Taiwan to the rest of the world.

Currently, she has scaled Mount Elbrus in Russia and Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, and is targeting Argentina (South America) and Puncak Jaya (Indonesia) next.

The climber was also photographed posing in her bikini and waving the Taiwanese flag in front of locals in a village, during the 18-day journey to the Everest Base Camp.

Netizens applaud climber's courage

Many Facebook users on the photographer's page reacted positively to Huang's feat, while some wondered how she was able to endure the cold.
