The second half of November will continue to have relatively cool and rainy weather, according to Meteorological Service Singapore.

More rainy days expected

There will be more rainy days for the next two weeks as we transit into the rainy Northeast Monsoon season.

With that, stronger winds are expected to come from the northeast or northwest directions.

During the Northeast Monsoon season, moisture will gather and get carried as winds originating from East Asia pass over the South China Sea.

This will bring more showers to Singapore and the surrounding region.

There will also be short thundery showers in the afternoons, for seven to nine days in the second half of November.

Moderate to heavy thundery showers can be expected in the morning and evening on one or two days.

The northeasterly winds will help alleviate the occasional slight haziness that might arise from the accumulation of particulate matter.

Night temperatures may reach 23°C

The daily temperature is expected to be between 24°C and 33°C.

On one or two warm days, the daily maximum temperature can reach 34°C.

On a few nights, the daily minimum temperature can reach as low as 23°C.

The rainy season is expected to extend into March 2020.
