The results of the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) this year will be released next Thursday on Nov. 21, 2019.

PSLE results day

Students will be collecting their results from their primary schools from 11am onwards, according to the education ministry.

Eligible students will receive Secondary 1 (S1) option forms to choose their secondary schools when they collect their results slips.

On the top right-hand corner of the form, students will see a unique S1 Personal Identification Number (S1 PIN) which they can use to submit their secondary school options online via the Secondary 1 Internet System (S1-IS).

The S1-IS will be accessible from 11am on Nov. 21 to 3pm on Nov. 27, 2019 for students to submit their options.

Students can also submit the option form through their primary schools at two specific timeslots: 11am to 3pm on Nov. 21, and 9am to 3pm on Nov. 22 and Nov. 25 - 27.

For those interested and eligible for the Normal (Technical) course in Crest Secondary School or Spectra Secondary School will have to apply directly to these schools from 11am on Nov. 21 to 3pm on Nov. 27.

At the same time, they have to indicate the preference for other secondary schools in their option forms to ensure they get posted to other schools in a timely manner if they do not get into Crest Secondary School or Spectra Secondary School.

Posting results to be released on Dec. 20

The posting results will be released on Dec. 20, 2019.

Students and their parents will be notified about the posting results by SMS via a local mobile number or via the S1-IS using their birth's certificate number or FIN and their S1 PIN at the primary school.

Students are to report on the following Monday, Dec. 23 at 8:30am to their posted secondary schools.
