PMD riders spend first day of permanent ban on footpath discovering grass-based loophole

Require modern solutions.

PMD riders are officially banned from footpaths.

This has led to quite a bit of reaction from all fronts.

With some resulting to vigilantism.

And some panic sells.

But some have taken the letter of the law to the letter.

Here was an earlier incident uploaded earlier today showing the first to use the grass loophole.

Here he is.

But this man would not be the last to rage with the machine.

Here is a mix of nifty techniques. With some taking to the grass plains, while one dutifully pushes his PMD by hand till the very end of the video.

Another video shows a man crossing the street while holding on to his PMD, followed by casually setting it down on the grass patch and riding off.
They persevered even if it was a bumpier ride than usual.

But not everything was fun and games. Recklessness will more than likely trump regulation, almost regardless of how strict regulation gets.

Here's a video showing a lady riding a PMD with her young child rather close to the road though.

Which resulted in some calling it out for being unsafe.

Can't regulate for the most extremes of behaviour so please do stay safe.

So in conclusion, for PMD riders in this brave new world, basically this.
