PMD rider sent to hospital after colliding into car along Lorong 5 Toa Payoh

It is not clear if the PMD rider was travelling on the road when the collision happened.

A 28-year-old personal mobility device (PMD) rider was sent to hospital after crashing into a car in the latest reported PMD-related accident to occur in Singapore.

Police were alerted to the accident at 10:42pm on Friday (Nov. 1), which took place along Lorong 5 Toa Payoh near a hawker centre.

Photos of the aftermath uploaded to Facebook by a bystander show the man splayed out on the ground in front of a stationary silver vehicle.

In this picture, bystanders watch as paramedics attend to him.

Police said the PMD rider was subsequently conveyed conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and are investigating the accident.
