One is a novelty.

Two is a fluke.

Three is a pattern.

Four is really just milking it.

But guess what?

Everybody loves Ip Man.

Donnie Yen coming to Singapore

And great news for fans of the franchise about the most upright and moral man who can do Wing Chun.

Donnie Yen will be in Singapore to promote Ip Man 4: The Finale《葉問 4:完结篇》on Dec. 9 and 10, 2019 -- the latest and last movie in the series.

Yen's two-day trip here was announced by Shaw Organisation -- sans details.

The film is slated to be released in Singapore on Dec. 20, 2019.

Yen, 56, plugged his last Ip Man movie on social movie a few months back:

What is Ip Man 4: The Finale about?

The very last Ip Man movie takes place in the 1960s.

It sees the master pugilist travelling to the United States to seek a better future for his son, only to find the stable, peaceful life abroad skin deep -- with racial discrimination worse than expected.

Ip Man then follows his protégé Bruce Lee (Danny Kwow-Kwan) to San Francisco, after he decides to open a Wing Chun school in Seattle.

Supposedly based on the life events of the Wing Chun master, the decade-spanning film series has been a hit around the world, partly because martial arts movies are not as common as before.

Director Wilson Yip was again at helm for this forth outing.

Here's the movie's trailer:
