It is not uncommon for friends to play pranks on each other.

But one group of friends in Malaysia thought of a particularly creative prank to carry out on their unsuspecting friend.

Printed out a huge boarding pass

A video uploaded to Facebook by Geraldine Loh shows her friends handing her her boarding pass, which was printed in size A0.

She is seen unfolding the boarding pass right before she enters the departure gates, much to the amusement of her friends who can be heard laughing in the background.

And this is what the boarding pass looks like:

Security & airline personnel tickled by it

But it wasn't just them who had a good laugh.

When their friend had to present the boarding pass to the security officer, he appeared to be quite tickled by it as he unfolded the paper:

The friend points at her group of friends accusingly, as they erupt into more laughter.

In a separate video, one AirAsia flight attendant on the plane also appeared rather amused by the boarding pass.

She even held it up and posed for a photo with it.
