In a recent episode of Chinese variety show "Crossing NBA", model and actress Hannah Quinlivan had a conversation with NBA star Stephen Curry.

During the chat, Quinlivan talked about her experience becoming a mother at 21. She also revealed some not-previously-known details about when she first met her husband, Jay Chou.

Was still "childish" when she had first child

Quinlivan and Chou have been married for close to five years, and have two children together.

According to Quinlivan, she "didn't plan anything" for their daughter, Hathaway.

As she was only 21 when she gave birth to her, she admitted that she was a bit "childish" in the beginning.

She recalled that it was "really tiring", and she had to look after her daughter while her friends were having fun at parties.

“I think in the beginning I a bit childish. because I was still a kid. Dealing with my kid was like, arghh this is really tiring! Why am I in this room, I just wanna go out… My friends are having parties and I’m stuck here."

However, four years on, she said that she has "grown up a lot" because of her children — her son Jaylen Romeo is two years old, while Hathaway is four — and she said they helped her to stop "thinking about just (herself)":

"I've grown up a lot because of the kids. I’ve stopped thinking about just myself… and caring for others. It helped me grow faster than I would have grown."

Quinlivan added that she's glad that she had Hathaway at that time too.

First date with Chou at a basketball court

During the episode, Quinlivan also revealed that she met Chou while at an audition for a music video. She was only 17 then.

Chou had decided to cast her in the music video, she said.

However, after they started seeing each other, Chou reportedly decided to cut out all the scenes featuring her in the music video in order to protect her privacy.

Their first date took place at a basketball court, she said, where she watched him.

Now, the two play basketball together. Aww.
