For those living in the east, good news: Genki Sushi will be opening an outlet at Tampines Mall in November 2019.
The outlet will be at Level 3, next to H&M.Although the restaurant is not the most economical sushi option around, it frequently sees long queues during meal times because the sushi is of very decent quality.
Besides a wide variety of sushi, Genki also sells sides such as gyoza, fries, and sashimi, as well as hand rolls, ramen, and rice bowls.

The chain first got famous for its ordering system, where customers select their dishes on an iPad and have the orders delivered to them on a mini train.

Genki Sushi also has outlets in Orchard Central, Waterway Point, Bugis+, Chinatown Point, Junction 8, Westgate, and Takashimaya.
