Video of crocodile in 'Punggol'

Here is the post:

The video had garnered over 34,000 views and 2,100 shares.

If you cannot see the video, here it is:

In the caption, the person who posted the video claimed that he heard the crocodile was spotted in Punggol.

Netizens claimed it's not in Punggol

Many netizens, however, were quick to point out that the location does not even look like Singapore, let alone Punggol.

Some also speculated that the video was taken in Malaysia.

Turns out, they are right.

Mothership confirms that the drain in the video is not located in Punggol.

The video was also circulated in several social media groups in Sabah.

While The Star initially claimed the crocodile was sighted in a monsoon drain in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia on Tuesday (Nov. 12), inspections confirmed that the video did not originate from Kota Kinabalu either.
