If having collagen hotpot three times a week is not financially sustainable, collagen bubble tea might be an alternative to consider.

In a collaboration with local cosmeceuctical skincare brand Recherché, collagen bubble tea, along with a skin-whitening bubble tea, is now available at nine LiHo stores in Singapore.

More outlets will be participating over the weeks.

1. Recherché Collagen Beauty Tea (S$6.90)

The drink is made with probiotics, yuzu, Recherché Collagen Amino Acid, and stevia (a sugar substitute).

This particular brand of collagen, like almost every other brand of collagen, says they are designed for easy absorption into the body.

Benefits of collagen include firming and tightening one's skin.

It's still a bit fuzzy as to whether ingesting collagen actually works, though.

2. Recherché Whitening Beauty Tea (S$6.90)

This is made from a blend of grapefruit, green lemon (i.e. Vitamin C) and jing syuan tea, and infused with Recherché Skin Brightening Plus.

The booster reportedly inhibits melanin production to lighten skin tone, and even works with the Vitamin C to defend the skin against UV rays.

Wow.

Maybe they can try coming up with a tanning beauty tea next time?
