Some places in Singapore are naturally prettier than others, and Telok Blangah Hill Park is one of them.
Since August 2019, the park has been covered in a sea of pink bougainvillea flowers.
The park, located at Telok Blangah Green, in Bukit Merah, is elevated.
Juxtaposed against the grey stone stairs, the pretty pink flowers blooming in abundance gives the illusion that Singapore is a garden city, oh wait a minute, it is.
The spot has become an open secret among Instagrammers who would like a hue of pink in their carefully curated, socially-mediated, society-facing front:

Let me tell you a back story behind this shot: we woke up early morning and reach this place before 9AM, thinking we’ll have a whole place to ourselves, but turns out we were wrong! - There was this Singaporean instagrammer who’s struggling to take a shot of herself using just tripod. Her reaction was so priceless when I offered to take a picture for her 🤣 she was using a Sony A7IIR and some prime lens so I’m pretty sure she has quite a following. And after we took so many shots of her, she offered the same for us, that way me and @alymaharani could have this shot together 😆 - she even taught us how to pose with a hat and joked: “ah you cannot play around with the hat meh, let me show you how it’s done” hahaha all in all, just wanna share with you how much effort actually goes in one picture. #VKmapSingapore . . . . . . #culturetrip #prettylittletrips #mytinyatlas #suitcasetravels #passionpassport #chasinglight #architecturephotography #forbestravelguide #cbviews #apartmenttherapy #lensbible #wonderful_places #exklusive_shot #postcardplaces #lonelyplanet #mydomainetravels #cntraveler #tv_living #mycityloves #theweekoninstagram #tourtheplanet #beautifuldestinations #guardiancities

🌸 Walking on the bridge to heaven 🌸 DE: Jeden Tag bekommst du die Chance genau das zu tun worauf DU Lust hast! Du glaubst uns nicht? Dann schau uns an. ENG: Every day you get the chance to do exactly what YOU want! You do not believe us? Then look at us. Of course, there are days when we have to struggle and days where some things just have to be done. But the truth is we do not have a boss. That's why we love our work, because we can decide freely every day WHEN and especially WHERE we want to work. . If you had the choice, where would you like to work?
