Awesome work.

Nur Syahidah Alim is a Singaporean archer who has competed in many local and international archery events since 2015.

Number one

She was also the first archer representing Singapore at the Rio Paralympic Games in Brazil in 2016.

Syahidah has also recently become world number one.

Specifically, the archer has attained the number one ranking in the Para Compound Women Open Individual category, beating 68 other athletes to bring Singapore all the way to the top for that category.

Not an easy feat, given the tough competition faced and the prestige of the ranking given; World Archery is the international governing body for the sport of archery, being responsible for setting the rules and regulations for international archery events.

This is perhaps the high point in a year with many highs for Syahidah, including her gold medal for Singapore at the 2019 World Archery Para Championships.

Check out her victory at the Den Bosch 2019 Para Championships as well.

It is also endorsed by the International Olympic Committee and International Paralympic Committee.

Well-deserved.
