For those in Pasir Ris and Punggol, here are some changes to ease traffic along Tampines Expressway.
New link road
According to the Land & Transport Authority on Oct. 31, a new link road will be open on Nov. 17, 2019, at 3pm.
This link road is part of the expansion of the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway and the Tampines Expressway (KPE/TPE) Interchange.
Motorists can drive from Punggol to Pasir Ris via Pasir Ris Industrial Drive 1.

Slip road relocation
There will also be a relocation of the slip road between KPE and TPE.
The current slip road will be decommissioned from 5am on Nov. 9, next Saturday morning.
A new slip road will be concurrently open for motorists to use at Exit 9C.
Directional traffic signages will be put up in the vicinity nearer to the dates.
The expansion of KPE/TPE interchange will complete by June 2021.
