Woman, 54, charged with murder of man, 63, in Ang Mo Kio flat

The victim and suspect were believed to be living together.

A 54-year-old woman has been charged in court today (Oct. 28) for the murder of a 63-year-old man.

Wang Shuzhen, a Chinese national, was accused of killing 63-year-old Teh Hock Pine after he was found dead in a flat at Blk 633 Ang Mo Kio Ave 6 yesterday (Oct. 27).

Police were alerted to the case at 5:46am on Sunday morning, and classified the case as murder.

It is believed that the alleged murder took place between 5am and 6:02am, according to Straits Times.

Suspected to be husband

Preliminary investigations have revealed that the victim and suspect knew each other before the murder took place.

ST reported that the man is believed to be her husband.

The victim and suspect had been living together for about two years.

Neighbours also saw them going to the hawker centre together regularly, with some noting that they were "a loving couple".
