Many of us would be grateful for teachers who not only help students with studies but also go the extra mile to connect with them on a non-academia level.

Four teachers from Marsiling Primary School did just that when they surprised students with a rendition of popular Kpop girl group Blankpink's song during their Children's Day concert.

Blackpink's "Ddu du Ddu du" parody

Donning neon pink wigs and black tops (get it), the five male teachers danced to Blackpink's "Ddu du Ddu du" with gusto.

While their moves were not in-sync and far from perfect, what mattered most was their single-minded intent to bring joy to the students.

Needless to say, the performance was very well-received. It was punctuated by non-stop cheering and laughter from the floor.

Video went viral online

The performance uploaded on the school's Facebook also went viral with more than 1,800 shares in less than a week.

Many viewers left positive comments on the Facebook post as well:

Kudos to Mr Airwan, Mr Danny Sim, Mr Amir and Mr Jason Tan!
