'S'pore's most expensive burger' with 24-karat covered buns available for S$250 from Oct. 11-21, 2019

Profits from the 'most expensive' burger will be donated to charity.

If you've ever wanted to imagine what rich people have for a casual lunch, this burger might be a decent answer.

The S$250 burger consists of:

  • Buns covered in 24-karat gold
  • 200g of Japanese wagyu beef
  • Pan seared foie gras
  • Banana shallots braised with champagne
  • Butter poached lobster tail
  • Fresh Italian truffle
  • Spicy red cabbage compote
  • Caviar

The burger, reportedly Singapore's most expensive, will be available from Oct. 11 - 21 at Lombardo's, a newly opened space at Duxton Road.

Profits from the "most expensive" burger will be donated to The Children's Charities Association,

Lombardo arrives from Amsterdam, where it has received rave reviews.

The burger menu in Singapore ranges from S$21 - S$35, and you can get anything from a classic Beef Burger (S$21) to a Singapore Fling (S$35), which comes with wagyu beef and crab meat.

Other options include Pork-A-Licious (S$29.50), consisting of waygu beef and pulled pork braised in beer for 14 hours, as well as Spicy Kimchi Burger (S$29.50), which comes with wagyu beef and kimchi.
