Kong cafe is a newly opened brunch and dining spot located at Dunearn road, right in front of King Albert Park MRT station.
At first glance, Kong might seem like a typical cafe with its minimalistic interior and artworks on the walls.
However, what makes the cafe different is their brunch menu with an Asian twist.
Kollabo coffee
But first, coffee.
Kong's coffee is made from a special house blend called Kollabo.
The espresso blend is procured from the Cerrado region in Brazil and the highlands of Aceh in Sumatra.
The combination reportedly presents customers with an aromatic coffee experience that is different from its black or milk renditions.

Brunch & food menu
Kong's brunch menu is not lacking either.
Made by a small team of staff, some of the brunch and food stuff Kong sells includes home baked pastries, cakes, brunch items, homemade falafel, chutney and hummus, among others.

Kong's signature pizza - the Bulgogi Pesto Pizza (S$18) - is made with a housemade pizza base, slabs of Korean-style beef, basil, and cheese.
One of their popular brunch items — the Kong Breakfast (S$22) — consists of scrambled eggs, sourdough bread, grilled sausage, house-cured bacon, citrusy seasonal salad and a tangy homemade chutney.
There are a couple of waffle renditions at Kong, with noteworthy ones being the Breakfast Waffle (S$26), Savoury Waffle (S$18), and Sweet Waffle (S$12).
There's also Kong's Ban Ban Wings (S$36 for 20 pieces), which come in two variations - Honey Garlic Butter or Spicy and Sticky.
