A family is appealing for witnesses after an elderly lady was sent to hospital, allegedly after being tripped by a child.
In a Facebook post by someone named Xin Hui, she claimed that her grandmother, 79, tripped and fell after a child stretched out her leg at Whampoa Wet Market.
This caused her grandmother to trip over the outstretched leg and fall to the ground.
The child looked to be around five to six years old, and was accompanied by family members, she said.
According to the post, the family had "left quickly upon hearing the fishmonger call for an ambulance".
