Oho.

An Ichiran ramen pop-up is running in Singapore from Oct. 3 - 20, 2019.

And Singaporeans are sure excited about it (reasonably so).

Patrons started waiting in line half an hour before it opened at 10am.

In fact, the queue persisted in length until slightly past 11am, when we left.

For their time and patience, patrons were rewarded with a bowl of... instant Ichiran ramen.

Yeap, instant — not the actual one sold in stores.

The bowl comes with a garnishing of spring onion and black fungus, as well as a dash of seasoning.

There were no other ingredients.

Nonetheless, the ramen was sufficiently tasty, although it could have done with more ingredients.

It wasn't too rich either, and one could finish the bowl without feeling guilty for eating instant noodles.

If you’re keen to bring it home, you can purchase the instant noodles at S$35 per box, which serves three.

The stock available at the pop-up for this instant variety is limited to 200 boxes per day.

That being said, we're pretty sure it's also available in Japanese supermarkets like Don Don Donki, so... yeah.
