If you would like to dine in public without having to make eye contact with anyone else -- which is reasonable enough -- Gangsta Ramen is the answer.
The relatively new store at Tanjong Pagar Plaza models itself after Ichiran Ramen with its private booths.
Here's how it looks:
Customers face a curtain as they dine. Lovely.
The store claims to be the first in Singapore with such booths.
However, if you wish to dine with friends, there are also shared tables in the restaurant.
Here are some of the items on their menu, which start from S$10 for a bowl of ramen:
- Original Ramen (S$10)
- Spicy Ramen (S$12)
- Signature Ramen with Cheese (S$12)
- Black Truffle Ramen (S$16)
All ramen use tonkotsu (pork bone) broth, and come with pork belly, bamboo shoots, black fungus, and half a Japanese soft boiled egg.
Prices are nett, too.
The shop, which has just re-opened after a bout of renovations, seems pretty popular so far.
From now till Oct. 26, they will also be having a one-for-one promotion for their ramen.
