Chiba has gone through a lot today.
A tornado was reported to have touched down in Chiba prefecture, believed to be triggered by Typhoon Hagibis, destroying a house and injuring four people, including two children, Japan Today reported.
A man also died near the area where the tornado had hit, at 9:30am Japan time (8:30am Singapore time), when his vehicle was flipped over.

Not long after the tornado struck, yet another disaster struck the Kanto region at around 6:22pm (Japan time).
According to Japan Times, a 5.7 magnitude earthquake hit the Kanto region, while a 4.0 quake struck southern Chiba prefecture.
Magnitude 3.0 earthquakes hit 23 wards in central Tokyo. The scale goes up to 7.0.
No tsunami warning has been issued, however.
Typhoon Hagibis is expected to make landfall this evening.
