A 24-year-old man was arrested on Oct. 22 after being suspected of a series of thefts.
He allegedly stole four cartons of coriander from Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre.
Identified and arrested on the same day
The police were alerted at around 11:15am on Oct. 22.
With the aid of images from police cameras and officers from Clementi Police Division, the man was identified and arrested on the same day.
The suspect is believed to be involved in other similar cases at the wholesale centre.
He will be charged on Oct. 24 with theft in dwelling and could face up to seven years of jail term and a fine.
