A man from Wales was found guilty of 36 counts of rape and one charge of sexual assault.

He fathered at least six children with his daughter and repeatedly raped one of them as well as his other daughter.

He denied all charges of rape and assault but was convicted of all counts at Swansea Crown Court, according to Wales Online.

Sexually groomed and manipulated his victims

According to BBC, the man had sexually "groomed" his daughter, and another who was born as a result of his sexual abuse.

The accused, whose identity was kept hidden to protect the victims, had told his daughter that he wanted to "teach" her how to have sex, so she would know what to do with future boyfriends.

The victim told the court that she became pregnant with their first child at age 14.

The accused was found to have fathered at least six children with this daughter over 20 years, according to BBC.

DNA results proved that he is the biological father of this daughter's children.

The man was also guilty of raping a child that he had with his daughter several times.

He had "created a false world of witchcraft and mysticism" to manipulate his victims, the court heard.

Guilty on all counts

The jury had taken nearly five hours to find him guilty on all counts.

During the trial, the man had denied all charges, claiming that the girls had blackmailed him into having sex with them.

BBC reported that the man had shown no emotion when the unanimous verdict was delivered.

The judge who oversaw the trial told the accused that it was "one of the worst cases" he had dealt with in 40 years as a barrister and judge.

He also told the accused that "a very long prison sentence" was waiting for him.

The accused has been remanded into custody and will be sentenced on Oct. 18, 2019.
