An accident occurred at the junction of Boon Lay Way and Jurong Gateway Road on October 5.

Dashboard footage was captured by one of the vehicles at the accident scene and was subsequently uploaded on to ROADS.sg's Facebook page.

Attempted to beat red light

The accident apparently involved a black BMW attempting to beat a red light.

Pedestrians had already started to cross the road, with vehicles from the right starting to moving forward.

This resulted in the BMW crashing headfirst into a silver car.

Shattered glass from both vehicle's damaged headlights can be seen strewn on the road.

At the end of the clip, a middle-aged driver is seen getting out of the silver car, visibly frustrated.

The BMW's driver was not seen coming out of his car in the clip.

A third car had also stopped behind the two vehicles involved in the accident.

It's not clear from the video whether the third vehicle had sustained any obvious damage, though the driver had also left his car presumably to speak to the other drivers.

No injuries have been reported so far.
