Amazon is arguably one of the biggest companies in the world right now. It has already gained dominant market share in America, and other parts of the world.
Now, it's setting its sights on Singapore.
Amazon announced the launch of Amazon.sg on October 8, 2019.
With this, Singapore customers can buy millions of products while enjoying free delivery on orders over S$40 within two to three days. But perhaps the most enticing option is the Prime membership.
Despite being a paid subscription, the service sees more than 100 million people actively subscribing to it.
One of the reasons for Prime's popularity has been their now famous two-day delivery.
Singapore subscribers can now get free one-day delivery on selected local items with no minimum spend.

Now as mentioned above, the real selling point for Amazon might be their premium Prime membership (S$2.99/month).
The service comes with Prime Now, which offers free 2-hour delivery service for orders above S$40 on thousands of groceries and local favourites.
Prime membership for customers in Singapore now also includes free one-day delivery with no minimum spend for eligible local items on Amazon.sg, as well as free international shipping for eligible orders over S$60 on millions of items from the Amazon International Store.
Exciting times.
