It's September 2019 in Singapore and you know what's up? That's right. Christmas.
Even for those who do not celebrate it, you will be hard-pressed to miss out the Christmas light-up extravaganza along Orchard road every year.
This year, the light-up will begin on Nov. 16, 2019.
As we write, Orchard Road is on its way to being Christmasy.
The lights
As part of "The Greatest Gift" theme this year, there will be bigger and grander lamp post decorations along the three major zones: Tanglin, Orchard, and Somerset.
Each precinct offers a different and unique experience, featuring little Santas on baubles, gift boxes or snowflakes.
Here are some artist impressions of this year's Christmas light-up:
New this year: A welcome arch at the junction of Tanglin and Grange Road, and more than 30 gigantic festive greeting cards along the stretch of Orchard Road.
This is the first time that the street decorations are extended towards Grange Road and Orchard Link.
Insta-worthy backdrops
There will be interactive set pieces along Orchard Road, where visitors can take photos with a giant Santa riding on his reindeer, help pull Santa's reindeer, or selfie with mini Santa.
