A 39-year-old woman and her two sons aged 14 and 16 years old were arrested in Jakarta for the rape and murder of a five-year-old girl.

The victim happened to be the woman's foster daughter and the boys' foster sister.

The body of the girl was first found by the riverside of Cimandiri River on Sep. 22.

Raped by own brothers

An autopsy conducted by the police found several wounds on her neck, tongue, private parts and anus.

It was revealed that the victim had been raped by both her foster brothers.

The two brothers were taking turns having sex with their foster sister.

When their mother caught the older brother taking advantage of the young girl, she was shocked and furious.

Not, however, for the obvious reason.

She was apparently jealous of the young girl.

Incestuous relationship

The three of them have been in an incestuous relationship for the past two months.

The relationship was discovered when the police found some sperm stains on the younger brother's pants.

They would partake in sexual activities only when the woman's husband was away.

The three of them have also apparently had a threesome together.

According to the Sukabumi police chief, this happened because the boys have been watching pornographic videos.

"The promiscuous relationship between the two teenage boys and their mother as well as their foster sister happened because they would often watch pornographic videos on their handphones. The both of them would have hallucinations and vent their feelings to their own mother and foster sister."

Had sex near girl's body

According to Kompas, the older brother began to strangle the girl after he was caught having sex with her.

The mother also assisted in strangling the child until she passed out.

To make matters worse, the three of them went on to have sex near the girl's corpse.

Threw body into nearby river

After they realised that the girl was no longer alive, the three of them carried the girl's body and threw her into the Cimandiri River.

The river is located in a rather remote area with a lot of bamboo trees and is just a kilometre away from their house.

Victim's parents ask for death sentence

The news of the girl's death has caused anger and sadness to her biological parents.

The couple, who divorced when the victim was only two months old, hopes for the three accused to receive the death sentence.

"Please give them the death sentence if possible. My child died, so her murderers should die too," said the victim's 52-year-old father.

The mother and her two sons have gone through a psychiatric evaluation on Sep. 25 and the results will be shared to the public once it's ready.
