The past month has been horribly dry and hot for Singapore.
The water bodies and greenery here have visibly dried up since the dry spell on Jul. 31, 2019.

Downpour expected
According to the advisory from the National Environment Agency (NEA), heavy thundery showers with gusty wind after 4pm.
The heavy rain might have also led to flash floods in some areas.
Heavy rain warning - Heavy thundery showers with gusty wind are expected over many areas of Singapore between 4.00pm and 5.00pm. PUB says flash floods may occur in the event of heavy rain.
