One thing Singaporeans love are malls that look like other malls, but just located in different locations:

Paya Lebar Quarter Mall

The newest mall opening in Paya Lebar is Paya Lebar Quarter Mall (PLQ), which is right smack at where all the other malls are surrounding Paya Lebar MRT station.

It will have more than 200 stores, as well as a gym and an IMAX theatre.

It is connected to Paya Lebar MRT station.

A preview of PLQ mall will commence on Aug. 30, 2019, with grand opening celebrations set for Oct. 24, 2019.

Here’s what you can expect inside:

Anchor Tenants

Basic food, grocery shopping and movie-watching needs can be met with these anchor tenants:

  • FairPrice Finest
  • KopiTime (a new thematic food court by Kopitiam)
  • Shaw Theatres

Shaw Theatres will have 12 halls (including premium halls) and an IMAX theatre with the latest laser projection technology.

New F&B concepts

Some noteworthy F&B concepts at PLQ that will be introduced for the very first time include:

1) Mom’s Touch by No Signboard Group

This popular South Korean fried chicken and burger chain will be making its debut in Singapore:

2) Hayai

Hayai will serve Onigirazu (Japanese rice sandwich) with no pork nor lard:

3) Fong Sheng Hao

Fong Sheng Hao will serve up some of Taiwan’s famous charcoal-grilled toast and milk tea:
