Malaysia Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad just turned 94 years old in July this year.

11km in 45 mins

But the oldest leader in the world does not appear to be slowing down.

He recently took to Facebook to share about his ride after completing 11km on a bicycle -- an incredible feat for a nonagenarian.

He wrote:

"This morning we had the chance to bike almost 11km.

Thank god, it feels refreshing and vibrant."

His post also included a short YouTube clip of him in action, zipping past onlookers on a red bicycle while leading an entourage.

According to Malaysiakini,  a spokesperson from the Prime Minister's Office said Mahathir completed the trip in about 45 minutes.

Mahathir cycles when he's free

According to the description on the video clip, Mahathir cycles during his free time to keep healthy.

In that particular trip, he cycled 10.8km around the federal administrative centre Putrajaya and Cyberjaya, an adjacent town in the same state of Selangor.

Previously, Mahathir revealed that to maintain his health, he eats in moderation, no matter how delicious the food, reported Malaysiakini.
