According to a Lianhe Wanbao report, an 18-month-old child was killed after a standing mirror fell on her at Changi Jewel.
The incident took place at an Urban Revivo outlet on Aug. 23, 2019.
According to The Straits Times, the Singapore Civil Defence Force and the police responded to calls at 78 Airport Boulevard at around 12.33pm on Friday.
The child was unconscious when taken to the hospital, and was later pronounced dead.
Shin Min Daily News reported store staff were seen asking for ice from nearby shops after the incident.
The shop was apparently cordoned off with the sign "closed for stock take" following the incident, the sign is still up.
Lianhe Wanbao also reported that the family of the child were tourists from China, and had collected her body from the morgue on Aug. 24, 2019.
