Lady gets giant Gong Cha bubble tea cake for 21st birthday

Many of us love bubble tea, and claim to live for our tapioca drinks.

But how to quantify this love, some might ask.

That quantification is certainly not an issue for Facebook user Sheniah Khademi, who shared her unusual birthday surprise on Subtle Asian Traits.

For any bubble tea lover, that definitely takes the cake.

From mum, with love

The sweet surprise was delivered by Khademi's mother, who managed to keep it from her until the final moment.

Khademi told World Of Buzz that she thought it was only a regular birthday dinner at her favourite hotpot restaurant in Australia.

In fact, when the birthday song came on, she actually thought it was for someone else.

The surprise also came with real bubble tea.

So sweet.

The original post on Subtle Asian Traits has garnered over 29,000 likes and 12,000 comments on Facebook since it was shared earlier this month.

Unsurprisingly, most of the commenters were people dropping big hints about their next birthday cake to friends and significant others.
