A Marvel-themed campus is coming to Disney California Adventure, Walt Disney Studios Park, and Disneyland Paris in 2020, as well as progressively in Hong Kong Disneyland till 2023.
The information was released by Disney Parks at the 2019 D23 Expo, a mega fan event held from August 23-25 in California.
Rides
According to People, California Adventure Park will have a ride-through attraction featuring Spider-Man, along with other "heroic encounters".
California Adventure is not the same park as Disneyland, although it is in proximity.
Hong Kong Disneyland, on the other hand, will have Avengers-themed rides and attractions added to the park until 2023.
This is in addition to the existing Ant-Man and Iron Man attractions.
An older post from the Disney Parks blog also revealed that visitors at Disneyland Paris will get to team up with Iron Man and other Avengers on a hyper-kinetic (which we interpret as "very fast moving") adventure in 2020.
The blog also wrote,
"When guests visit Avengers Campus, they will become part of an interconnected, global story that spans from California to Paris to Hong Kong with the Avengers recruiting new extraordinary people to join them."
It seems like all the parks are part of a larger narrative, and visitors are "recruited" to fight alongside the Avengers.
Cool.
