The St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival Singapore held at The Meadow at Gardens By The Bay on Jan. 24, 2015 attracted some 13,000 hipsters.

The music festival was a day-long affair that featured many bands that not many people have heard of.

But would that be a problem? Well, for hipsters who are posers, of course not.

A video uploaded on YouTube on Feb. 2, 2015, shot by a duo, Jonathan and Belicia, at Laneway 2015 -- inspired by Jimmy Kimmel's Lie Witness News at Coachella 2013 -- proves that hipsters will admit to anything just to look hip and cool, like listening to bands that don't even exist.

Have you heard of Courtney Has Crabs? Or Phua Chu Kangs? Yes, I'm pretty sure you might have, but in a vastly different context.

Watching this video will make you think: Come on, hipsters and posers, is it really so hard to admit you don't have knowledge of obscure things? Because you wouldn't look "cool" and "in" and "unique like a snowflake" if you did?

For the record, Laneway Festival has been spoofed to death.

But you can check out the video and have a good laugh at these Singapore Laneway 2015 pretenders:
