British expat Anton Casey's news achieves Gangnam Style virality, trends across planet

Entire planet talking about how Singapore stood up against British expat Anton Casey.

Unbelievable.

The Anton Casey debacle has achieved Gangnam Style virality causing ripples internationally two days after it was the top trending news in Singapore.

News media from around the globe -- in Britain, Australia, South Africa, Hong Kong and even the Gulf -- have picked up the piece.

In Britain, in particular, any news relating to Anton Casey from at least six media outlets have each been shared and re-shared thousands of times.

A majority of them have even framed the story as one of how Singapore stood up against Casey who mocked the poor, causing the British expat who had stayed in Singapore for more than a decade to apologise or go into hiding.

Focus was also placed on the fact that Casey's employer, wealth management firm Crossinvest, is now contemplating taking action against him.
