Truck engulfed in flames along ECP on Feb. 13 evening, no injuries reported

SCDF extinguished the fire using a water jet.

A tipper truck was caught on fire along East Coast Parkway (ECP) on Monday (Feb. 13) evening.

Mothership reader witnessed the incident, saying he heard an explosion prior to this.

Within a few minutes, an ambulance and fire truck arrived at the scene.

No reported injuries

In response to queries from Mothership, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that the incident happened along ECP towards Changi Airport before Still Road South exit on Feb. 13.

SCDF was alerted at about 7:15pm.

The fire involved the engine compartment and cabin of a tipper truck.

SCDF extinguished the fire using a water jet.

There were no reported injuries.
