Member of Parliament Tin Pei Ling has become the first MP who is having a SG50 baby.

In a Facebook post, she announced today (Feb. 21, 2015) that she is expecting her first child and is four months into her pregnancy.

Yes, that's right. To show her love for Singapore, the 31-year-old even tried to time her due date near to this year's SG50 National Day Parade. Based on rough calculation, she is due around the last week of July.

The post also revealed that she has some rude caring friends who have been asking her about her expected weight gain.

She also ensured her electorate that she will carry on with her Parliamentary and constituency duties as long as she can.

However, with a four-month maternity leave looming large, questions remain as to who will be arrowed to take over her duties in Marine Parade GRC.

Maybe ESM Goh can volunteer his services, now that he is free from prostate cancer.
