The People’s Action Party (PAP) appointed Marcus Loh to chair its Sengkang East division with effect from Nov. 1, 2023.
He will be taking over Ling Weihong, who will be redeployed within the party.
This change was announced in a statement by PAP on Oct. 26.
In a Facebook post on the change, Lam Pin Min, leader of PAP's Sengkang GRC team, welcomed Loh to the team.
The team's other members are Elmie Nekmat and Theodora Lai.
Sengkang GRC is currently held by the Worker's Party, with Member of Parliaments (MPs) He Ting Ru, Jamus Lim and Louis Chua.
The GRC's fourth MP, Raeesah Khan, resigned on Nov. 30, 2021.
This is PAP's second line-up change this month for their members in divisions held by the opposition.
