A car crashed into a tree in Jurong West Central 1 at about 3am on Feb. 8.

Photos taken by passers-by in the aftermath of the incident showed the white car wrecked with its bonnet destroyed, Shin Min Daily News reported.

The car's windshield was cracked and the rear wheel also appeared dislodged.

Debris was found strewn across the road.

The police and Singapore Civil Defense Force confirmed the accident.

The police said they were alerted to the incident at 3:14am.

No one was injured.

A 23-year-old male driver was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.

The case is under investigation.
