West Lawn (next to Bayfront Plaza), Gardens by the Bay Aug. 13, 2016, will definitely go down as one of the most exciting days in Singapore's history.
Joseph Schooling not only won the Olympic Gold for the 100m butterfly event, he even broke the Olympic record, out-swam Olympic legend Michael Phelps and took gold with a timing of 50.39 seconds.
And one of the most Singaporean way of celebrating is, of course, to bet on "5039" for 4D from Singapore Pools.
However, before you rush out to place 10 big 10 small, people have been receiving news from WhatsApp that the number is already sold out. This photograph has been circulating on WhatsApp chats:
Ho Ching, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's wife, has been posting all morning about Schooling's win and she also shared news of the 4D number supposedly being sold out, saying:
Don't worry everyone, you can still try your luck with 1308 (today's date) or 1222 (Schooling first, Phelps, le Clos, Cseh joint second)."5039
