Lavastone Steakhouse was brought into Singaporeans' collective consciousness after the replies it gave to 1-star reviews on its Facebook page went viral on Jan. 4.
Since then, their Facebook page's review rating has gone from 4.1 to 1 (as of Jan. 6, 12 pm).
It has since received at least 80 new 1-star reviews over a two-day period. It is not known how many of these reviewers actually dined at the restaurant located at East Coast Road.
However, for reasons unknown, its 5-star reviews have not been deleted, but do not contribute to its overall star-rating now.

A check again on its Facebook page at 1pm showed that the review rating on its Facebook page is no longer visible and the review page has been made inaccessible.
