The man who took to Facebook to accuse a Changi Airport immigration officer of infringing his rights, but was called out by the majority of people who read about his account and disagreed with his actions, has sort of apologised for his rant online.
This was not before he removed the original post, titled “Know your rights”. (You can click to our first story to see it here.)
In his sort of apology posted on Facebook on Oct. 19, 2015, the man, PJ Wong said in response to the backlash:
... I would like to apologize to anyone who might had been offended by my sharing of my experience on my personal FB page.

But judging by the comments on his apology post, there are still some of his peers who think he did not do anything wrong:
In comparison, according to this Mothership.sg poll, an overwhelming 95 percent majority agreed that the immigration officer was just doing his job and not necessarily violating anybody's rights.
In case you're lost, here's what happened initially:
PJ Wong was upset that he was randomly singled out for screening by a Changi Airport immigration officer. His particulars were taken down and was led into a search room after he repeatedly questioned the immigration officer’s actions with a raised voice. In the end, Wong was let go after the immigration officer’s superior got involved.
