Infocomm Development Authority of S'pore took 1 hour to craft a response to Singtel-Gushcloud saga. You'll be blown away when you see it.

Mindblown.

After Singtel and Gushcloud accepted responsibility and apologised for the recent online smear campaign controversy against telcos M1 and StarHub, Mothership.sg waited for the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) to issue a public statement.

An hour later, this was what an IDA spokesperson replied via email:

IDA is investigating the matter.

That must have taken some effort.

Since IDA is investigating, this is something they should take note of:

Under Section 8.4.1 of the Telecom Competition Code, a “Licensee must not engage in unfair methods of competition”.
