Human rights lawyer M Ravi goes on walkabout in Ang Mo Kio GRC with beer in one hand, cigarette in the other

Totally not judging.

Looking to usurp Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's seat in parliament or at least give him a run for his money, human rights lawyer M Ravi has kicked off his walkabout in Ang Mo Kio GRC.

This was after he announced his decision at a hastily-called press conference in early February to contest in the GRC as an independent candidate with an independent party in the next General Election expected to take place anytime before January 2017.

In a series of videos uploaded on his own YouTube channel, the lawyer can be seen canoodling with Ang Mo Kio constituents in what can be described as merry-making tactics:

And in this video, uploaded on March 6, another independent candidate, Abdul Rahim Bin Osman, is introduced:

This video mentioned that the other independent candidates will be announced at a press conference at the Fullerton Hotel on March 18.

We will provide updates to this post if or as and when that press conference does come to pass.

In the meantime, here is a video of Ravi dancing:

And another video of him participating in the recent Saint Patrick's Day procession with some drummers:

Looks like it's going to be a tight race to the finish this coming GE.
