Fans of WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) who are yearning to watch wrestling matches live need not shell out thousands of dollars to fly to the United States.

Home-grown Singapore Pro Wrestling (SPW) is the next best thing and it is slowly picking up steam. The wrestling outfit first held a full-card event in 2013 and has grown steadily since.

On 27 Feb 2015, it held its third edition of Prove, an event that gathers wrestlers from around the region to duke it out in a public spectacle.

SPW was even a featured event for last year's Night Festival organised by the National Heritage Board.
