To commemorate the People's Action Party (PAP) 60th birthday yesterday, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong used the same microphone the party's founding father Lee Kuan Yew used in 1954.
PM Lee even recreated the Victoria Concert Hall stage to replicate the look and feel of how it looked like when the party was formed. The party was founded in the exact same venue 60 years ago.
Talk about a trip down memory lane.
PM Lee was speaking to 700 PAP members yesterday and highlighted the importance of the constant need of good leaders in a rapidly-changing world.
By the way, he also spoke about these things:
1. The PAP will always do its best for Singapore and Singaporeans.
2. He reminded the activists that despite the challenges, the party never faltered.
3. The PAP successfully took Singapore from Third World to First.
4. He paid tribute to Lee Kuan Yew.
5. He launched a book titled PAP 60.
Here's an excerpt of his speech.
While what he mentioned are pretty important, the only thing we want to know is: What is the brand of that microphone?
