Sumisha Naidu, a journalist for Channel News Asia, was reporting from the scene of the Jalan Bukit Bintang blast, which occurred 4:30am this morning. A grenade exploded in front of Sun Complex at Jalan Bukit Bintang and the blast killed a man and injured 12 others, including a Singaporean by the name of Wong Kim Teng.

Police suspected the bombing was related to a gangland turf war.

Like all good reporters, Sumisha was in the midst of the action and doing a piece to camera when this (almost) happened:
