No idea what Mookata is? Think of it as a BBQ grill surrounded by a steamboat moat originating from Thailand.
A special feature of Mookata is the use of pork lard in place of oil or butter. When you cook the meats, the grease will roll off into the steamboat, flavouring the soup. Yum yum in your tum tums.
To make it more delicious, you have to exclaim 'Mookata!' like a Haka Dancer whilst eating. True story.
Mookata restaurants have been gaining popularity in the last two years with more popping up every month.
