Guess who was spotted at Kinokuniya Singapore yesterday?

When Indonesian President Dr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) arrived in Singapore, he made the bookstore at Ngee Ann City his first stop.

Here's SBY catching up on current affairs at the magazine section.

Here's SBY with a young Workers' Party member, Bernard Chen. An Oxford postgraduate, Chen is a legislative assistant to WP MP Muhamad Faisal Manap. Chen commented on his FB page that "the Indonesian experiment in democracy is worthy of our study".

SBY is on a State Visit to Singapore from 2 to 4 September 2014 at the invitation of President Tony Tan.

He will meet President Tan, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong during his visit.

President Yudhoyono last made a State Visit to Singapore in 2005.
